It was the first time she had come back to his space. They walked into the room where he didn’t do much living and he showed her the place. On the wall. Where he strung up the different shades of pathos.
In the right order, of course.
She was more impressed than she thought she would be.
And now she was scared.
Scared that he knew right where to put her.
(NB. there may be an expletive in here)
Oh… nice twist… spooky… this deserves more than a flash!

why, thank you.
I love the eerie atmosphere of this song, and that she thinks she has deluded him…but I also feel sad about these games, and the motivations. And the idea of home, and as I kept writing, spooky things appeared and, well, hey. Read it as you wish 🙂

it has a good eerie feel on top of the modern pop-stuff. Good stuff.

I simultaneously adore the song, (and keep listening to it…I love the eerie, seductive ones, I confess.) But it also makes me sad, her cruelty. But her honesty. Gah, can’t help but be inspired.

Yes, but, you know, seduction can be prelude to cruelty for some.

Because many modern readers also have a limited attention span too. Not that I’m looking at anyone … but I did see my reflection in the mirror (iPad in one hand, phone wedges between shoulder and ear and toast in the other hand haha). Have a great day!
