I miss you.

I thought of you today

when we were at the beach,

our holiday coming to an end,

my pensivity forming the only clouds in the sky.

The colours beneath horizon

like new creation

taking my spirit by the hand

and joining yours.

Well, except,

goldfish don’t have hands.

But if you did,

I know you would have held mine.

And how you were so patient

the way I kept mispronouncing your name,

just because I couldn’t figure out

what accent suited you best.

But I never thought

I would miss you so much.

Cerulean.

    1. Thanks AP. I actually really was missing her when I wrote this, but I had also eaten a lot of chocolate and was kind of in a silly mood. So I guess you could say the clown was sentimental šŸ™‚

    1. Wow thanks so much Davy. I was feeling different things when I wrote this, I was on a sugar high, and feeling sentimental as well, so I was kind of giggling and getting a little teary too…you know, that clown thing… šŸ™‚

        1. haha that really did make me laugh out loud. Ha, good memory, that was a great night! I guess you could say it doesn’t take much. oh wait, we did have wine and pizza tonight. Clearly a winning combination, even though I wrote this months ago LOL.

                1. I am happy for you if you see the beach soon!
Yes, I am amazed by the lakes in the US. My husband is American but I have not really spent time around the ones in Michigan. I was overnight in Chicago years ago and I was blown away by the immensity of the lake.
Yes, water is truly powerful, rather mind blowing.
