WordPress Anniversary… holy…

Here we go, just doing our thing. Living in bewilderment as we bump into each other stepping out of time machines.  I just did so tonight, when I looked at the calendar and realised it’s been 2 years since I started blogging. I am pretty sure it was only a couple of months ago I wrote a post for my first anniversary. This post actually:

I’m sure there is a perfect song somewhere to capture this credible moment in time. But it is almost the 8th now, and who cares really?

And, I also have glasses for my astigmatism and blah blah. I do see things differently. It’s been startling, to say the least.

This is me with my glasses, not looking startled. I texted this to my husband one night when he was working late, to show him I had started the fire. It made him laugh. I am not photogenic. But I consider this my “all I do is win” look. Which kind of goes without saying. Which also goes with the song I posted last year. And in case you can’t be bothered even looking, and who can blame you really, I will repost it for you. I love it.

PS, in case you didn’t know this about me, it’s not about winning. Unless, you consider not tripping every time I step out of that dang time machine, winning. In which case, I have been quite the winner lately. Could be my glasses…

    Hi Vanessa, two years is a long time in this blogging time machine. Congratulations 🎊. 😊 😊 ❤️. My machine’s door seems to be jammed, it’s 4.00am and I’m stuck in a time-warp. It’s the 8th here too !! 😉

    Yep, happy anniversary, Vanessa. You look great and I love glasses. Really life is about winning, it’s all win-win-win. Whoops, sorry, I meant wine-wine-wine. Today I was victorious getting out of bed, after taking the time machine from evening to morning, and soon I will fight a noble battle against the weeds and dust, perhaps a bit one-sided since they do not have a lawnmower.

    As you know, Vanessa, your posts always impress and rewilder me.
    PS I don’t know what rewilder means, but it’s a good thing.

      Gah!! Did you have the same awful weather today? So much wind and dust. How did the mowing go? I’m guessing it was just a work up to the win/wine 😁

        I admit I had a beer as a reward for doing the lawns. Yes, it’s dry again here, and polluted. I actually have disposable masks to deal with all the clouds of dry grass and dust from the mower, but they clog up with dirt and sweat so I don’t wear them. 😜

      I guess it’s like journaling, it’s so interesting to go back and see what’s changed and what hasn’t etc. It has been an interesting ride to say the least.
