just when you think your ducks are… (revisited)

philosophise me

unhelix my mind

and then chastise me

rhyme my poses

retime my proses

snap my beak

rethorn the roses

alphabetize me

file my shadows

then ostracise me

crime my creases

frieze my freezes

face me in to

comb with tweezers

must be those klutzy shoes…

Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone. I might go back into it, if this poetry gig falls flat Vanessa πŸ™‚

Good thinking Vanessa. That’s the difference between men and women, you can handle two thoughts at once. I will attempt your suggestion πŸ™‚

      wow, thank you so much.
Normally it is because of a few things happening at once…in this case, I noticed that one of our ducks we keep in a row (hehe) had broken its beak off. On a day when I was feeling kind of like that duck. This is about anxiety and self doubt and it really is only in recent years I have figured out just how much all of that has controlled my thought processes.
There are times you have to look out to break that inward anxiety loop. (hence the tags).

Really? Do you mean as a self protection thing?
      And thank you!
And I love those guys too…was sad to see that the one had snapped the end off its beak, but it gives it more character I think! hehe

Hmm… the roses you buy at the florist’s to offer have no thorns. I think they are the ones I’d like to rethorn. Maybe to use them as trojan roses.
The duck with the broken beak is probably the wisest among them.

Never mind! I had forgotten about this too. But I remember the ducks — good to see them again!

And thank you for reminding me of Trojan roses — it sounds good! I’d love to see what you come up with,

I aim to please :-D. Even though my aim is pretty terrible. Except in the bathroom (he said quickly…)
