I wanted to write something, you know, about serenity, and how your words and image captured it. I remember it from late afternoon walks beside the Georges River. Then Mick, the tree guy came to the door, and because of the recent winds, I had some work for them: so noisy and they didn’t use earplugs. I could say my serenity vanished, but that happened long ago. Thanks for the reminder, Vanessa.
I’m sorry that you were reminded of when your serenity vanished the first time, Steve…that’s pretty inconsiderate of Mick. And also that he didn’t use ear plugs. lol.
Oh V, this is seriously good. But then, it’s always with u.

Shadows that lengthen over promises and days, and hunger beauty to rest under their depth.

That could be a song! Lovely!
So gently burning that serene wisdom into lenses, to really see it, to appreciate it
