Hello to whoever might be reading.
I’ve decided I’m going to make my blog private for the time being, for a number of reasons that are personal, and while I figure out what I want to do with it. I will still be around, but I just thought I’d explain a little.
I really hope you are all staying well! And I will keep on in the hope that good and insightful things will continue to come out of these challenging times!
With love,
Vanessa
I am reading and will be reading for you no matter what, my friend.

Oh Vanessa. I don’t know what to say. I hope first and foremost that you are ok. Sometimes we just have to do the things that are best for us. Please take care dear friend. If your blog is on private and you allow followers, I would still love to follow you. Sending you hugs and love xoxox

Ok, I understand. Meeting you has been a highlight of WP for me too. Even if I don’t hear from you for a while, you’ll still be in my thoughts. I hope it’s not anything more serious than a need for a recharge xoxo

We’re just doing the best we can with the situation over here. I finally downloaded Spotify and have been discovering new music, as I’ve been wanting to do for years. What have you been listening to these days? Thanks for thinking of me, it means a lot.

It’s good to hear from you.
I was using Spotify and then I was having some computer issues and haven’t got around to getting it on to my tablet.
Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the song Ivor shared recently, that I reblogged… a cover of Grandma’s Hands by a young Aussie artist. So I’m investigating her more, but I adore her version of that.
What have you found?

Who is the young artist? I think I may already have told you, but I love listening to (Aussie) Tash Sultana. And there is a song by City of the Sun called ‘Second Sun’ that I seem to want to hear at least once a day. And the composer Ezio Bosso. Always open to recommendations:)

Her stage name is Meg Mac.
And no, I don’t recall about Tash, but that could just be because my memory can be bad! I love her music too, and her story, that music healed her from her drug addiction and psychosis. I did use one of her songs a couple years ago, but I’m not sure if that post is still on my blog. 🤔
I’ll have to look up Second Sun!
Love and blessings on you guys.

Thanks for access, Vanessa. TBH, I feel like I’m intruding with private media accounts and usually don’t request, which has led to my family telling me I am an idiot in no uncertain terms. This is because I grew up without any of this: it’s a bit unreal, and I still feel as if I am a ghost on the internet. Yes, a time to reflect and make changes. All the very best, Steve.

Hi Steve,
It’s my honour to grant you access. I agree with you too…it’s funny how different tools in life, that are meant to help make things easier, just end up creating more mental dilemmas for us 🤪
It was simply that I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my blog, but I didn’t want to delete it yet, either. I wonder if a lot of people think like you and I, as I have not had many requests, and I have not had the time to go through my list to send many invitations.
It is unreal. I think I kind of resent the way we have been forced into such un-real-ness… I’m not sure what the answer is. We have been so busy organising our church life to online, but we are also trying to keep things as real as we can, and people seem to be appreciating that.
I have seen a lot of good things come out of this time. My heart also truly aches for those who are suffering way more than we are.
How are things going for you?
